What are the troubleshooting of pneumatic water wells?

The following issues should be paid attention to when drilling with a pneumatic water well drilling rig:

(1) blow hole

The test shows that when the air drill is drilling normally, observe the discharge of rock powder and cuttings at the hole and the footage. When the powder discharge and footage are normal, there is no need to lift the drilling tool. If only the footage is drilled but the powder discharge is abnormal, the drilling tool should be lifted once after a certain footage has been drilled (the impactor does not work at this time) to generate a large upward return wind speed. After the rock powder and cuttings are blown out of the hole , and then put the drill into the bottom of the hole to continue drilling. This kind of lifting drilling tool in an instant can blow out the larger falling blocks out of the orifice, and can blow out the falling blocks with a maximum mass of 510g. In short, the bottom of the hole should be kept clean.

(2) Sudden change in wind pressure

Pneumatic water well drilling rigs should always observe the pressure changes of the air pressure gauge when drilling. When the wind pressure suddenly increases, it is difficult to lift the drilling tool at the same time. If the rated working pressure of the air compressor can blow away the upper blockage while the drilling tool is running in series, the drilling can continue. If it is invalid, inject water from the orifice to dilute the mud mass and blow it out of the orifice, or inject a certain foam agent from the drill pipe to dilute and get rid of it.

When connecting a single drill pipe, the active drill pipe will start to supply air after it is connected, and the bottom of the hole will be blown clean. You can continue to drill in. Do not supply air after the down-the-hole hammer is lowered to the bottom of the hole. This will easily cause the DTH hammer to be blocked by cuttings and malfunction.

(3) After drilling a single drill pipe, do not rush to stop the air supply, and stop the air supply after lifting the active drill pipe for 1-2 minutes after blowing the hole.

(4) When the down-the-hole hammer is working, it should be lubricated frequently. Foreign multi-functional drilling rigs are equipped with automatic oiling mechanisms on the gas supply pipeline. If there is no such mechanism, oil should be filled in time when connecting the drill pipe to prevent the loss of the piston and cylinder liner.
